SLES 9 vs Suse 9.2
Hey
I'm wondering what the major differences are between SLES 9 and the Regular Suse 9.2 Pro. I've looked through the comparative guide at novell.com/products/linuxprofessional/comparative.html , but I'm still not really sure.
SLES is intended for business servers I guess, but I believe you can still run a single PC on it, although it is overkill. Is that correct or am I way off basis? Anybody out there running SLES on a regular desktop? Any idea what the major diiferences are, how much overkill it is, and how well it works?
The reason I ask is that you can download SLES from Novell for free right now. The Install / Upgrade support times out after 30 days, but I believe SLES itself does not. Is it worth it to try it out on a regular box, or does it just make more sense to buy the new Suse 9.2 pro? I don't think they'll be releasing any iso's for it, but I guess you never know.
Thanks
