SLED 10 b9 user interface question

I've had this issue with other distros, but thought I would ask it here. Certainly, there must be some trick that I don't know about.

When using the My Computer, File System application to work with files, I prefer to have it in List mode as opposed to Icon mode. However, in the List mode, I find it impossible to get the right click menu for the container folder. It selects the folder or file where the mouse is and gives me the right click menu for that item. I have to switch to icon mode, find a blank area in the container and then right click.

What am I missing?

I guess we are talking about konqueror?

In the list view, you should get several columns (e.g. Name, File type, Size, etc.).
Try the right-click with the pointer above some of the columns other than "Name". This should give the desired result.
