SLED 10 and no IP

I've installed SLED 10 and I'm trying to get my wireless working. I've followed a guide to get a driver installed for my RT2500 and now SLED can detect the card. I use a router, so I've set the default gateway the same as the one in Windows XP which works. DHCP is enabled. It should give me an IP address and let me connect but when I click on the networkmanager applet connection information it says my ip is 0.0.0.0 so what's going on? What have I missed? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
