I checked SuSE database for supported hardware and couldn't find this device. Well, I use simple mike on my SuSE 9.3. So far so good

As these USB devices are pretty new, I don't think many distros will support them out of the box. You might be in luck and find a project starting up to develop drivers for them, but until more people use them, I don't think they're going to be well supported I'm afraid. I looked at one, but just bought I decent headset microphone instead. Have a look on sourceforge or freshmeat and see if there any projects going for the usb phones

hrmm the problem is i have only one computer and that one is a sony vgn-u70p and that one has no microphone input, only via USB it is possible to connect
