Sharing Printer through network
OK i have one comp that is Windows XP and has a printer that i shared. My other comp is a SuSE 9.2 and i go on the internet by connecting it to the network. The internet now works on my SuSE, but i can't get teh printer to print things from my SuSE. MY SuSE doesnt even kno that the printer is there! How do i fix it? remember, put this in terms that a Windows XP person would understand cuz im pretty new to linux!
You'll need to install "samba". I presume you already have cups, then you'll just need to set up cups with an "SMB" printer. (SMB is the file/print sharing protocol used by Windows)
