settin g up wireless card with knetworkmanager

i have a realtek r8185 based wireless card.

i have found the drivers for it and compiled them using the script provided.

the wireless interface is not recognised by ifconf at first but when i run the wlan0up script provided with the driver it appears in ifconfig

however its still not recognised by YAST
i wish to add the interface to knetwork manager so that it will be easy to change things like WPA keys, and networks
im building this system for somone elce who isnt very linux knowegeable.

i use suse myself though with an atheros based wifi cards with madwifi and that worked forst time with knetwork manager.

the computer is running opensuse 10.2 with kde.
