SaX2/YaST configs for video (follow-on)

This is a follow-on from my intro. I had a no video BIOS for depth failure on my 10.1 installation/boot.

Great advice from xproblemx. I found SaX2/YaST references and was able to get into the configurations. Probably would have taken me 4-5 days to do so otherwise. I was also able to run SaX2 and YaST.

I didn't know how to change the parameters without screwing the boot up. I'm planning on copying the xorg.conf to an old version and then insure I update the xorg.conf it wants to write over.

I have an HP M70 monitor with an I810 driver, so I believe it automatically chose the correct configuration, since that's what was referenced in the auto config. I'm not sure what the Depth error is complaining about. It's an Intel 82845G graphics controller, set on Windows as 1024/768 32 bit 75 Hz refresh. I saw a reference to v4l (video4Linux) driver.

When I select my own configuration, the .conf doesn't look much like the automatic. The auto config does show 800/600 @ 60 Hz DPMS VESA, no DDC, vertical refresh 50-60, Horiz synch 31-38, DRI 0660 video. It also shows depths of 8, 15, 16, 24 (defaults).

Is there way to re-do the auto config and set the video correctly?

I make a little progress and go a Curl error 6 when I tried to see if I could connect to the net. But That's Another Problem!
