Samba 3.0.25 Release Works With Vista

Samba just released version 3.0.25.x files that work with SuSE 10.2. You can find the updated binaries at:

I have one computer at home that has Windows Vista Ultimate loaded on it and I was unable to get file sharing to work properly from SuSE Linux to Vista with Samba 3.0.24.x binaries. The newest version of Samba now appears to read and write correctly from a Vista workstation share.

Thanks for sharing! I remember I had to do change some local policy settings in Windows Vista Ultimate to get it to work with SAMBA. Glad the SAMBA team worked this out!
