Run command "dhcpcd wlan0" when connecting with KInternet or at boot

I use Suse 9.2 and a wireless card to connect to the Internet. However, I have the following problem:

- If I want to connect to the Internet I have to type in "dhcpcd wlan0" as root every time I boot. I have tried to use manual and at boot control modes. I also use now KInternet and I was wondering if I can connect to the wireless network without typing always "dhcpcd wlan0" after dial-in.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this? Everything works OK and I don't want to make any major changes like install new drivers because that gave me a lot headaches already.

Thanks in advance,

Kinternet should give you the option to run a script when it "dials", so you can just make a tiny little script to run dhcpcd for you and have it do that on connect.

I switch between eth0 and wlan0 at varying times to connect to my network/the internet, and Kinternet caused me lots of headaches trying to resolve which interface it should be using, even though it is supposed to make that easy. I finally just gave it the heave-ho and I manage my interfaces manually from the command line with ifup and ifdown. Its not that hard for me because I use static ip addresses for my interfaces, so all I have to do is bring the card I need up and shut the card I don't down.
