Reliance netconnect USB modem detects but cannot log on to internet

Sir,
I have installed Suse 10.1 in my laptop Acer 5500z. Recently I bought a Reliance Netconnect USB modem. The reliance modem is having softwares which works only in windows.
Suse 10.1 detected my modem as AT modem and I configured with dial up phone number, username and password. I tried to connect to internet using Kinternet. But it failed due to 'no carrier'. Kinternet is trying to connect again and again but failed due to 'no carrier'

I expect your valuable advices and help.
