Unhappy Problems With Suse Install

Hello,

I would want to report to you some problem: I installed linux SUSE 10.0 “under” from XP Windows, the SUSE however does not work(function),
also whenever I make boot begins first my computer (HP compaq nx7010) with the SUSE…

I wait for your advice, that I can correct this problem?

thanks a lot...

Try to post your question in the right forum (I'll ask the mods to move it)
You say Suse does not work, but you alos say your computer boots into suse when you start it... What problem do you experience?

Are you having problems getting into WindowsXP?
Probably your waiting time in boot is set to something very short, and you need to be very fast to be able to select windows
Another possibilities is that you have a quiet boot which does not show windows ... unless you touch any button (except <enter>) during grub display to see the other options.
Both can be easily changed by editing the grubconf file which is located under /boot/grub/.
