Cannot run 'make xconfig' after upgrading to KDE 3.5

Hi, everyone !
I run SuSE 10.0 on an Intel Pentium 4 (64 bit).
Recently, I've (successfully) upgraded the KDE to version 3.5.
In order to resolve the dependencies issue I had to uninstall the 'qt3-devel ver. 3.3.4' package, then 'qt3-devel ver. 3.3.6' was installed as a part of KDE 3.5 .
In the new installation of the qt3-devel package there is no qt3-devel-32bit, without which I cannot compile the kernel with 'make xconfig' (since the xconfig requires qt3-devel-32bit).
How can I resolve this new problem ?
Maybe there exists some kind of qt3-devel-32bit ver. 3.3.6 ?
Or maybe, there is a way to install the old qt3-devel alongside with the new one ?
Or maybe, there is some kind of a new 'xconfig' that makes use of qt3-devel (64 bit) instead of 32 bit version ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated !
