Just installed openSuSE 10.3 yesterday and tried Skype, to see if there were still problems regarding 64bit versions.
Nope ! It installed like a dream, no dependency hell, all installed automatically. Thumbs up for SuSE !
(same with the nVidia driver)

Mohanbal and Riba, you not understand anything. Your system is 64-Bit?, then you need the 32-Bit libraries because Skype is 32-Bit application, you has a Qt4 of 64-Bit, then the system not found the correct libraries.


Qt4 for 32-Bit

Yes I do! And my Skype Version 1.4.0.118 is working on my 64Bit system.

Sorry, I said to Cinq-Marquis. Skype not work directly in 10.3 64-Bit.

Hi Riba,

Thanks for the info..it is already installed and one point I forgot to mention I am using Toshibha Satelite Pro Laptop which I belive is 32 bit only.
