problem installin rpms


hi

i'm trying to install some differents apps with some downloaded rpms packages, but everytime it asks for the dvd and install the version of the dvd.

a another question is i downloaded the dvd from opensuse, is there any differens between opensuse 10.1 and suse 10.1?

btw i'm using opensuse 10.1

rpm -ivh packagename.rpm

Should install just fine.
Don't use YaST, it's kinda buggy right now.

If you need a package manager try "Smart" or "y2pmsh"
