Printing problem in SuSE 9.2 pro

hey,

Is there somebody who could help me. When I was trying to print a text document from OO 1.9 beta writer ( it is the same when I try to print from OO 1.1.3) nothing happened. there is a file in queue in printer command window and that is all.
It happened suddenly after some month of normal work , when I
upgrade the system from YAST2.
My printer is EPSON C82.

if you are using CUPS (default in SuSE) - you should go to CUPS administration (http://localhost:631) and make sure your printer is active. The status would be under the 'Printers' tab. I have occasionally seen the printer is in 'stoppped' status after a Yast update and needs to be re-started.

I could not repair my printer status so I have to reinstall SuSE. Well I have downloaded the new version of Suse and everything is as it has to be for the time being. But I will have in mind your advice. Thanks again.
