Printing Problem
I am running SuSE Linux Pro 9.1, with KDE 3.2
I set up my HP deskjet 940c on this system and it prints as desired with only one exception. It uses a different font than the one I have set up in the control center (Sans Serif). The font it uses is the one that looks like boards nailed together. Does anyone know how to set a standard font to use when printing? I have a feeling it may be a setting that got changed that is overwriting the font information of the webpages or KWord documents that I am trying to print. Thanks for any help in advance! |
I have the same problem when printing some websites from Mozilla Firefox (in KDE) onto an HP deskjet printer. So I suspect it's a problem with HP's printer drivers. That's not really a proper answer, I'm afraid, but you could look at your printer settings rather than KDE. I'm using CUPS+foomatic+HP's driver (the SuSE/YaST default).
