printing not possible in SuSE 9.3 pro

Hi guys,

I know there has been a lot of questions & answers regarding my problem, but being new to LINUX, it is hard to remember where to look. I have been trying to find the thread which can point me to the right solution but no success. If somebody can direct me there I would be happy, if not, well here is my problem. I cant print at all from konqueror
Printing was not a problem after I installed SuSE 9.3. Somewhere in between the installation and now, there must happened something I missed. May be when I was upgrading the system. Well the printer is recognized , but it has a red cross over the icon. Whatever I do, it is no success. I cant print from OO, I cant print from konqueror. When I open Print Job Manager there are Queued jobs only.

please help!!

What kind of printer? Have you tried reinstalling the CUPS driver from linuxprinting.org

My printer is EPSON Stylus c82. I have not reinstalled drivers yet.

Before reinstalling drivers, you should try looking thru Yast to see if your printer is deselected - I would try "uninstalling" and then "resinstalling" it from Yast.
