possible keyring problem

Hello All,

I used 10.2 for a long time and switched over to 10.3.
I tried something on 10.2 but it messed up the system.
I did a complete new install of 10.3.
The system I installed it on was an Acer Aspire 5024 laptop.
I got the wireless card working with acer_acpi from the opensuse download site.
When I gave in my WPA key and got connected to my AP I got a keyring window. I filled it in and it went away.
Rebooted.
When I tried to connect to my AP it wouldn't let me connect to my AP.
I went into de gnome2 keyring dir and deleted al the files.
Tried to connect to the AP and it worked. Asked for a keyring and gave a new one.
I clicked on the networkmanager on the right bottom side of the window. I wanted setup my network in networkmanager. I clicked on my wireless network and clicked on the button Set Password. Filled in my phrase clicked OK and it hangs. Waited and killed it after a while. Retried it now I got the keyring window after the Ok button filled in the password clicked OK went away and it hangs again.

Somewhere during 'testing' I got a bugreport window but could't send it because the the keyring had disabled my network so it seemed.

Any suggestions how I can overcome this?

Regards,

Theo

Hello all,

I booted my laptop this evening and it locked on to my AP and connected.
The only thing I did was pushing the power button. I think I fiddled long enough that the settings
in networkmanager & keyringmanager where right. I don't know what I did to make it right.

Linux is working fine. Without logging in everything starts up en start the desktop.
Maybe I was a bit quick to post on forum.

Regards,
