pam devel at wrong version

Hi,
I'm running SLES 11 SP1 and am trying to compile xrdp. One of the required modules is pam-devel. When I try to install it via zypper I get:-

Code:
Problem: nothing provides pam = 1.0.2 needed by pam-devel-1.0.2-20.1.i586
Solution 1: do not ask to install a solvable providing pam-devel
Solution 2: break pam-devel by ignoring some of its dependencies
The installed pam module is at 1.0.4, output from zypper:-
Code:
Information for package pam:

Repository: @System
Name: pam
Version: 1.0.4-0.5.12
Arch: i586
Vendor: SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Nuernberg, Germany
Support Level: unknown
Installed: Yes
Status: up-to-date
Installed Size: 1.2 MiB
Summary: A Security Tool that Provides Authentication for Applications
Description:
PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) is a system security tool that
allows system administrators to set authentication policies without
having to recompile programs that do authentication.
I don't want to downgrade the version of pam to match the pam-devel package. I would like to get hold of pam-devel 1.0.4. The DVD that contains pam-devel 1.0.2 is from SLES 11 SDK.

Any suggestions as to where I can get hold of the correct pam-devel package?

Thanks, Steve.

The SLES repos? Add the right software source from Novell and go.

Hi AlucardZero,
The right repos? As far as I know I am using the right repos. These are online versions of what I have defined in yast:-
http://demeter.uni-regensburg.de/SLE...VD1/suse/i586/ - pam is at 1.0.4
http://demeter.uni-regensburg.de/SLE...VD1/suse/i586/ - pam-devel is at 1.0.2

As you can see pam and pam-devel aren't at the same version. I can't find a SDK for SP1 - is there one that I've missed?

I downloaded the latest versions of the SDKs from Novell this morning.

Thanks, Steve.

Hi,
And sure enough I have missed the SDK for SP1 (http://download.novell.com/protected...id=zzeQqpY9nK4). I'll download and update the respos.

Thanks, Steve.
