OPENSUSE v31.1 will not boot from liveusb gives installation options instead.

It's 13.2 not 31.1 my bad i cannot change it now.

i once got myslef persistent live usb for ubuntu wich was slow, when i removed casper-rw it became fast again,
i wasn't happy with it anyway cuz it didnt wanna use all the space it had wich is 30gb when i tried to make a casper-rw partition with other linux the gparted program crashed, so i switched to opensuse, i made myself a liveusb usin this tutoiral https://pl.opensuse.org/SDB:Live_USB_stick but it didnt give me liveusb boot option instead i could only: install, rescue system, upgrade and chceck install media. i want to use a linux liveusb I DONT WANT TO INSTALL ANYTHING because i need to have all my stuff everywhere i go. not on a single computer. on every computer.

I do know this is partially about ubuntu, ignore that.

and yes i have searched deep enough ( i even went to the second page of google search results, ugh) for fix for these problems but i aint found anything. thats why i wrote this thread.

Please, read the LQ rules about text-speak, and not using it.

Also, going to the second page of a Google search isn't that much effort. If you read the first page of the openSUSE download site:
https://software.opensuse.org/132/en

..you'd see a link, that says "Click here to display these alternative versions.". If you click it, it will show you both live versions, KDE and Gnome. Pick one.

Yes, you weren't using the live image, but burning the installation ISO image to USB.

I think you might consider installing OpenSuse to the usb flash drive. The Live to usb creators use a compressed image copied off the iso. In some cases it is faster.

The reason I suggest that you create a real install to the usb is to both give yourself ability to do major updates and proper installs of apps. It could slow your experience down. Always use a fast usb. Can use a usb hard drive too but for most new distro's a usb is like any internal drive.
