Understood but the point I was making is that you don't have to go to an alpha release to get these updates. Things related to security are patched normally for production releases. If a user wants to live on the edge and test bleeding edge software, fine, but most users would want a stable desktop and the gains for going to a alpha release probably aren't worth the sacrifice of stability.

openSUSE Leap 15.1 Alpha

I will wait till Leap 15.1 gets stable. Not a big problem.
