OpenSuse 15.0 Firefox manual resize not working

Hi all,

Apologise I'm learning (Beginner) but can't see why Firefox application will not allow me to adjust the size when other applications can. Is there something I am missing I have tried a search or two but nothing I can find.

Thanks

Well for starters, what DE (Desktop Environment) are you using: KDE/Plasma, Gnome, Xfce etc...?

If Gnome, you may have to install gnome tweak tool and click that you want to "see" the minimize/maximize buttons. If it's Plasma, Xfce, LXQt or Mate then you should see those "buttons" already, usually upper right hand corner of the window.

Thank you @ChuangTzu, I had to google to check which DE i was running (KDE). I see the maximize and minimize buttons but I seem to only have those options along with the snap to left or 1/4 of the screen.

The other apps allow me to drag the corner to adjust the size but this does not work in Firefox so just trying to work out why. I've had a look around but can't see any option in Firefox that may explain this.

Sorry, one more:

Code:
zypper info `rpm -qa | grep -i firefox`
Note: those are back-ticks - before rpm and after firefox. Key below Esc key on your keyboard.
Please post output in [/code] tags

Try running:
Code:
sudo zypper ve
That should ensure dependencies are properly satisfied. Firefox is a GTK app, not native to KDE/Plasma, dependent on various gtk libs otherwise unnecessary for Plasma users. If it doesn't help, try installing MozillaFirefox-branding-upstream, which would replace MozillaFirefox-branding-openSUSE.

No change...

Thanks @mrmazda, no change.

Code:
sudo zypper ve
returned "Dependencies of all installed packages are satisfied."

Code:
zypper install MozillaFirefox-branding-upstream
which prompted me to deinstallation of MozillaFirefox-branding-openSUSE-45-lp150.2.1.x86_64 and installed version proposed.

thanks for the help, any other ideas?
