Question openSUSE 12.1 vs HP Netelligent DUal 10/100 TX as One Network

Am setting up webserver(s) and would like to run a small MySQL Cluster. Got hold of an HP Netelligent Dual 10/100 TX for a buck at GoodWill. Figured I could use it in the cluster manager (www) for a two storage node (sql1, sql2) cluster. This is my first cluster and trying to get things straight in the head before committing a lot of changes.

All three computers now have a Minimal Server Installation of openSUSE 12.1. And I am going through the "Perfect Server" Steps for 12.1 x64; though all machines are x32 P4 HT. My question is in the network configuration of the Netelligent Dual, sql1, and sql2. The primary NIC is configured on 192.168.1.0 and I figure the Netelligent Dual will have to be setup as two different networks (192.168.2.0 and 192.168.3.0). Is this a problem for a MySQL cluster? I.E. Would a MySQL cluster require all nodes on the same network?

Ok, now that I look at what I wrote, I suppose this should be in a MySQL forum. At first I was not sure how I should go at all in setting up the storage network and this is the first forum I thought of. Any help anyone could offer is appreciated.

Thanks,

GregS <><
