nvidia clone tv

I don't know how to set up my XF86Config file to clone the standard screen on my TV. I've read the instructions from nvidia and tried a lot of different options but none seems to work. So if somebody has a similiar setup, it'd be gread if i could have a look at your XFConfig file..

PS: The drivers are installed without problem, and i can use nvidia for my standard monitor, so it's just the clone thing i need help with.

Hi martine

I've put the relevant parts of the XF86Config file from my old Debian setup below, I was using an NVidia Ge-Force with the NVidia drivers and TV-out was working great. I didn't want to copy and paste the whole thing because I would hate for you to damage your monitor or TV because of my advice . Any thing you need to get it going should be shown below but be sure to check the HorizSync and VertRefresh for your monitor (monitor section) and TVOutFormat and TVStandard for you TV (device section) before starting X. You may need to use <CTRL>+<ALT>+<+> to cycle throught the modes to get the TV image working.

Good luck (might be a good idea to back-up your XF86Config before trying anything).
