Novell not longer with Suse?

I am not complaining but rather wondering why is Novell not anymore in the Suse logo. I notice that Novell basically has been removed from the Suse logos. I don't see the same philosophy like Red Hat, I mean Novel or Suse is more open, they still sell Suse, but Novel doesn't have a specific version for sale and one for free. Any ideas on this?

The way I understand it is Open Suse is Novell/Suse's Fedora like distribution.

Novell established OpenSuSE for improved community participation and greater access to the GPL alphas, betas and RCs throughout the development process. 10.0 OSS is the stable release and was available for free download the same day that Novell shipped its retail boxed version. The retail version, SuSE 10.0, has all the GPL software and additional RPMs under different licenses. OpenSuSE 10.0 OSS version is GPL only. Novell is still the driving force behind SuSE.
