No window frames in new openSUSE11 install?

I've just installed openSUSE 11 and all the window frames are missing. I can't close, minimise, maximise or drag any windows. The install seemed to go fine, no errors. I've not changed the system, installed anything, etc since I installed it. What's going on?

Did you install from the kde4 cd?

Do you mean you end up with a blank screen?

This happens when you try to use Desktop effects on a buggy Nvidia/Radeon card/driver.
If you disable the desktop effects then the window border comes back.
