no sound

hi in suse 10 i have no sound no boot up sound, no internet sound. its not the volume what could it be?

Have you checked the mixer to make sure sound is not muted? Please post your machine/harware specs.

yes it i not muted
1.2 ghz via c7m
hd 120gb
ram 1gb
suse sled 10

its ok now i have sorted it i had to go (file > change device) and select the correct device and then (edit > preferences) and click on all of the check boxes. and then i had to make sure they were all un-muted and had to lock channel PCM together
