no media files are played


Hi! I have recently installed a Suse 10 and when i can't load in the playlist the mp3 file and when i double click the file in the konqueror nothing happens. When I open Kaffeine the following error apears:
Win32 Codecs... /usr/lib/win32
libdvdcss... DVD's
DVD drive... DMA mode... /dev/dvd
DVB Device ...DMA mode

(Long story short, you need the codecs)

can anyone tell me if I upgrade from 9.0 to 10.0 will my support of mp3 and vcd go away?

I would imagine that you would be able to update your current media packages if the upgrade doesn't work.

I guess I will be able to do that, but as my comp is not online (for some stupid policy of my institute), it will be tedius. So I want to know whether the support will go. Can anyone tell me?
