No fan after suspend

Running Leap 42.2 on a Dell Studio 1555 with radeon graphics.
Have it set to go to sleep when lid closes. When lid is opened back up and system resumes, everything seems to work fine except that now when the system heats up, the fan will never come on. The system has to be rebooted and fan will come back on. Not sure if this is an acpi issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org stabone00. Unfortunately, I can't help directly with this but more information about your graphics hardware may help others to advise further...

Code:
/usr/sbin/hwinfo --gfxcard
or
Code:
/sbin/lspci -nnk|grep '\[03' -A3
Does this happen regardless of whether the machine suspends/resumes on battery or when connected to a power supply?

You best course of action may be to submit a bug report. Here's a guide about doing that...

I'll get the graphics card info and bug report when I can. The systems battery is not working so I've only been using it with the power supply.
