new users...a book about suse

hello all,
just to let new users out there that there is a book called beginning suse linux, by keir thomas....and it is very good. It also covers more detailed parts of suse, so is good for the slightly more advanced. Along with this forum, you should be able to get along very well indeed.
So go for it....steve.

Thats great, I mean if you want to use your 40$ on amazon. It has some 500 pages of text, focusing on suse 9.1
BTW SUSE Linux 9.3 For Dummies would be even better choice.

I would recommend:
Opensuses user documentation or
Official suse 9.3 user guide with 300 pages or
Official Suse 9.3 admin book with 700 pages
SuseWiki is also great place to find solutions

Wow, those Novell official 9.3 documentation in PDF's are huge! 700+ pages! Very detailed and thorough, though.

Thanks for the links! I'm sure they would apply to 10.0 also
