Network
Hi all ,
I have 3 computers and All runing SUSE 10. I would like to configure a network between these computers. Any idea how to do that ? Thanks |
in a terminal/console enter "man ifconfig". theres probably an administration gui tool in kde/gnome/whatever SUSE uses to do it for you, look around in the menus.

"creating a network" is a pretty broad phrase. What specifically would you like to be able to do?

One way is to export a directory you want to share. Other systems can mount it of type NFS.
|
Also look at SAMBA (www.samba.org) for creating Windows shares, it comes with most modern Linux OS's.

For more hardware details, search for TCP/IP and other home networking guides.
