Netgear WG311 wireless with Suse 9.3
 

Hi, I purchased a Netgear WG311 wireless PCI card expecting it to work with suse 9.3 which detects the card correctly but, but after configuring it to use DHCP I don't get connectivity .

The wireless is connecting to NetComm NB5580W wireless ADSL router, I have checked the router, wireless enabled, security in not enabled.

ifconfig shows my eth0 - <cable unplugged.>
iwconfig shows nothing.

What more do I need to do to get the wireless card working?

ps. I have checked that both the card and wireless router work correctly, I installed it on a different computer XP Pro. I am using both Card and Router to make this post. - Roly

I still have not got this card working on SUSE, although I have checked the card works with another OS (XP) and with the ADSL Router.
