Need Linux driver for 2wire wireless USB adapter for SuSE 10
I need A SuSE 10 Linux driver for a "2Wire" wireless USB adapter for ...Help!
After some Googling, all I'm seeing is mush. Some allude to the possibility of writing a driver from info and other instructions that are on the 2Wire site(see appendix 2), however, I'm not yet 'Hoss' enough to do that yet. Has anyone done this? I haven't see anything that was downloadable or any script that was rubber-bandable. I'm hoping not to have to samba through my Windows XP Pro machine to use the internet on Linux, since I'm trying to create a full-fledged DAW (digital audio workstation) on Linux. CCRMA's latest take on this is to 'just wait for FC5 to do it!
But I really like SuSE 10, and want to use it if I can. FC4 has some bug in its Cyberblade video driver for the video card in my machine, and all I can run on my other card is 800x600...not enough.
As much programming/hardware/audio/ experience as I have (an old guy), I hate to admit that I can't do this by myself yet, that's where it is.
What I hope to run under SuSE is just this:
Rosegarden, Ardour, software and hardware synths. And I'm hoping to have a solid system, where there will be fewer interupptions.
All suggestions appreciated!
