Need help with SUSE-Firewall
I just saved my iptables firewall script under SUSE like this:
cd /home/myusername/Documents chmod +x firewall ./firewall service iptables save My question is, what do I have to do next? In other words, do I have to do any further configuration inside the built-in SUSE-Firewall2 or do I only have to just enable it and thats it? I am really really lost here. Once my iptables is saved with the commands above, what will I have to do next inside the SUSE-Firewall2? Please explain in detail.... |
I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do, and I don't have a lot of details for you. I do know where the SuSE firewall configuration is hiding. It is located in /ect/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2.
If I backed anything up, it would be this file. This contains various rules, including the ones used by SuSEfirewall2 to generate the iptables. |
