Okay, so i downloaded the .iso image on my mac and burned it to the dvd. I plop it into my peecee and restart it. When i go to the screen, it only shows

suse 10.0 liveCD
LiveCD safe settings
Boot from Hard disk

According to the documentation that i downloaded it SHOULD show:

Boot from hard disk
installation
installation--acpi disabled
installation--safe setting


I currently have no Linux distributions on that computer, only windows 2000 professional. Also, looking back at the novell webpage (cant get the link to work) it seems that there are 3 live cd's and i forget the one that i downloaded. Thanks in advance

Looks like you downloaded the wrong image. Theres the regular CD for installing SUSE, and the "Live CD" which just boots from CD, but doesn't install to the harddisk. It's to test the distribution without erasing your old system or to have a "Linux to go".

You'll have to download the other image-file.
