Ndiswrapper and linksys wireless wusb54g

Has anyone got this to work. I installed ndiswrapper from yast lastnight. Grabed my linksys install and grabbed the drivers off the disk. I got them to install but when i do an ndiswrapper -l it doesnt say its connected to device like the say

ive gotten it working, though i am looking for some tools i can use threw it for a wireless security project for school.. anyone out there know of something like Kismet that will work when using the ndiswrapper?

(what distro of linux are you using?)
