mpeg plugin for XMMS on SUSE 9.3


is there a mpeg plugin for XMMS? I want my XMMS able to play mpeg and VCD file

I don't normally play mpeg format with XMMS. I would use Mplayer, Xine, Kaffeine, etc... I did not even know XMMS supported that. Is there a reason you are limiting your options to XMMS...?

found this for XMMS but it still requires Mplayer. There are probably others, however.
