Mounting cdrom from Konqueror

I have a combo CDROM/DVD drive that I would like to be able to mount automatically from Konqueror's Storage Devices. Right now, it keeps telling me that The process for the media protocol died unexpectedly. I can mount from the command line as root, but not as a normal user.

Here is my fstab:
Quote:

/dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto user,unhide,auto,ro 0 0
/media/cdrom is chmod 755. How can I modify the fstab so that I can mount my discs from Konqueror?

Konqueror does not mount your drives...It reads the folders that your drive has been mounted too...

Most likely Suse mounted your drive automatically, In that case just navigate to the mount point /media/cdrom and you should see your files...

It has not mounted my drive automatically. Let me rephrase my problem.

I click on "My Computer", or equivalently, "Storage Devices" under Konqueror. On SuSE, this is the media:/ protocol. I then click on the icon corresponding to my Unmounted CDROM. I typically expect this to automatically to mount according to the target in the fstab, and the device icon should expand to reflect the contents of the now mounted CDROM drive.
