My comp is acting slow on the graphics side i use suse 9.3 and every time i scroll or move a window it seems to take an second or to to catch up with my mouse
it also does the same thing when i scroll
plus i cant play GL-117 because i get a frame rate of 4 (yes thats right 4!)
i am running on a ati 9200SE 128mb pci graphics card that shouldn't do this
You're not the only one with trouble using this card under linux. A peruse through the links below should at leats help you refine your question. It looksl like a driver issue - since you didn't mention downloading and installing a special driver you probably havn't (it's not the sort of thing you forget.)
well i tried to install the driver from suse's ftp server(because ati was down)
but that didn't work
so i have no clue on what to do (i am not that linux literate yet)
If it was my system, I'd look at the X86.conf file and make sure the video driver listed there is the one I'd just installed. Sometimes the generic drivers are sticky...
