missing esound-devel in Suse 9.3

Dear all,

Is it me or is there something odd with Suse 9.3? I am trying to compile BasiliskII and it keeps complaining that it can't find esd-configure. This is provided, I think, by esound-devel.... but esound-devel is not in my Suse 9.3.... Anybody any ideas where it is, or am I missing something obvious?

John.
