Mirrors lead to NoWhere

I been trying to find a mirror to download The latest SuSE 10 as announced on Distrowatch Yesterday .
AnyWay every mirror I try (Australia) + others I tried just to make sure lead to nowhere.
I press on mirror then click SuSE10 on until I get to i386 or even 64bit & there is no iso to download ,they all lead to nowhere .
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. They all claim to lead to Suse 10 iso but there isnt one, and these are mirrors that claim to be Complete, even tried the Amarican ones,Japan etc.
I did find one link from a post just recently on this Forum, but if you do get connected then its that slow it stops & starts but it also says try a mirror closer to home .

Where can I find a mirror that has the Cd or DVD iso 4 Australia or closer like Japan ,as the ones on SuSE Novells web site lead to nowhere, either that or I havnt followed the right paths when clicking links?
----Anybody been able to use any of the mirrors on SuSE Mirrors?

I have had the same experience but some mirrors seem to be getting populated so be patient or use the torrents.

Mirrors always take a while to get populated. A few are out there though as I'm downloading it as we speak.

All,

I have successfully downloaded SUSE 10 from a mirror in the UK.
It has all 5 iso's and the site I used had excellent througput on the bandwidth. I'm sure that'll change real quick after this posting!!!!!
(I also paid for the retail box but I'm not holding my breath waiting for delivery!)

Mirrors

On the suse site, it says the mirrors won't all be ready till the 11th, but I am also using a UK mirror, with a decent speed. All the US ones didn't have it when I looked either. You just have to look through all the directories till you find one.

If you don't mind 5X CD's rather than a DVD try some of the more out of the way Mirrors such as Bulgaria, Estonia etc.

Most of the German one's are Jammed --and when you do get logged on the speed drops to as low as 3.7kb/s (would take a few days to download at that rate).

I'm now on CD 5 -- will install tonight.

BTW there's some confusion over the meaning of EVAL DVD -- this is a FULL INSTALLABLE Distro --it just doesn't include some licensed non open source packages --which you can still download (without charge) from all the usual repositories.

It's just some Lawyers B/S over some copyright issues although if the stuff doesn't cost anything what's the problem --- I'm only a Dumb User not a Lawyer so what do I know about it.

The Mirrors will probably be busy for the next few days -- just try at odd times and use "Out of the way" Mirrors.

Glad my ISP has Unlimited downloads as I've downloaded recently Beta 4, RC1 and OSS alpha 1 to say nothing of FC4 and Mandrivel (Mandriva) both of which I've junked.

I've been using an Eastern European Mirror downloading 2 CD ISO's at the same time at around 180 kbs each -- I'm now on the 5th CD at around 337 kb/s --another 40 mins or so to go.

Cheers

-K

The same experience with documentation, mirrors and REPOSITORIES (see my earlier question <http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=369312>). Then other signal in the same line at <http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=355358> This is why I suspected (and I still do suspect) that the support for openSUSE will be a little too much conditioned by commercial interests.

Thanks Everyone, I actually went back again to the mirrors & found "Brazil" had the first 2 ISOs & one of the bottom selections of Japan -Closer to home had them all ,And I was able to download the whole 5 over night at top speed for my Broadband.
My question was in regards to the fact that the ones that had "Complete" next to the mirror were supposed to have the latest, but what I found was Amazingly while searching & sending this post last night that more ISOs were being added ,I tried the Torent for DVD first & gave up when the fastest it was reaching was that they were going to be finished in 6 or seven days. So I am glad I aborted the Torrent & kept searching as now I have all 5 ISOs.
