Log in/out question

What are the commantds for loging out an unused person. I have multiple people logged on (all me), and cann't get figure out how to get them off. Help?

I noticed that after I posted.

I ment something like booting a user, or is that something only root can do?

I had 2 users logged in (something like one on tty5 and another as default/general), and I was the only one on the comp. That normal (this list was from the switch user)
