let my suse 9 know my Samsung Syncmaster 551v monitor ...


Hey All,
I'm tring to make suse linux 9 detect my Samsung Syncmaster 551v monitor...suse reads my monitor as vesa [I think it's generic device].

Plz can you help me ?

search for that particular monitors drivers on the net, else search for its specifications like hsync, vsync, display size and then select the monitor which matches urs in yast and enter all those details which u got from the net.
