Leap 42: Install Spotify!

I'm working arround with this issue of installing spotify on Leap 42, but it turns out to be a hard work.I've tryied the spotfy-installer from the packman repo, but I get the following error at the starting:

Code:
> spotify
spotify: /lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by spotify)
spotify: /lib64/libssl.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by spotify)
22:11:59.786 I [breakpad.cpp:110 ] Registered Breakpad for product: spotify

22:11:59.788 I [translate.cpp:152 ] Reloading language file
22:11:59.799 I [translate.cpp:152 ] Reloading language file
22:11:59.800 I [breakpad.cpp:269 ] Searching for crashdumps: /home/matheus/.cache/spotify/*.dmp

libgcrypt selftest: binary (0): Selftest failed (/usr/lib64/.libgcrypt.so.11.hmac)
Ohhhh jeeee: ... this is a bug (global.c:137:global_init)
Aborting
Then I did try it converting the deb to rpm and installing, as it is showed here: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthre...enSUSE-Factory

But did not worked. I got the error:

Code:
spotify: /lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by spotify)
spotify: /lib64/libssl.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by spotify)
22:20:32.214 I [breakpad.cpp:110 ] Registered Breakpad for product: spotify

22:20:32.215 I [translate.cpp:152 ] Reloading language file
A windows says: Spotify is running but not repoding. Please, close and try it again

There was a dependency missing when I did(the following was in a second time):

Code:
zypper in libxmlsec1 - openssl -devel nss- compat- openssl -devel xmlsec1 - openssl -devel - libxmlsec1 openssl1
Loading repository data ...
Reading installed packages ...
' libxmlsec1 - openssl1 ' is already installed.
No candidate upgrading to ' libxmlsec1 - openssl1-1.2.20-1.1.x86_64 ' . The largest version is already installed.
' libxmlsec1 - openssl -devel ' is already installed.
No candidate upgrading to ' libxmlsec1 - openssl -devel- 1.2.18-1.1.x86_64 ' . The largest version is already installed.
' xmlsec1 - openssl -devel ' is already installed.
No candidate upgrading to ' xmlsec1 - openssl -devel- 1.2.20-1.1.x86_64 ' . The largest version is already installed.
' nss- compat- openssl -devel ' was not found in the package names . Trying to find resources .
No provider ' nss- compat- openssl -devel ' was found.
Resolving package dependencies ...

Nothing to do.
Trying to install nss-compat-openssl-devel from a rpm it asked for nss-compat-openssl-devel-0.9.2-22.1.2.x86_64 and that last one asked for libnss_compat_ossl0-0.9.2-22.1.2.aarch64 and this one, both trying from a downloaded rpm, asked for ld-linux-aarch64, which I couldn't find a rpm. With asked for I meant: "It depends for the package..."

So, what should I try now? I migrated to the opensuse recentlly and I whoul be very desapointed with the inability to install spotify. Thanks!

Edit: Windows version throught wine didn't worked too.

Install ubuntu 10.04 with qemu to get a virtual machine. Spotify offers .deb downloads for Debian and Ubuntu (might work on Mint as well). Here is a good explanation of how to install qemu/kvm and how to install ubuntu onto a vm:

http://www.unixmen.com/how-to-instal...emu-in-ubuntu/

After that download spotify .deb (from the ubuntu vm) and install. Hopefully you will have spotify up and running with qemu-kvm (make sure you start kvm up with the audio option: "-soundhw ac97" or "-soundhw hda"; if these don't work run "qemu-system-x86_64 -soundhw ?" or "qemu-system-i386 -soundhw ?" (depending on your system) in terminal to find other possible options; also make sure you have the option "-enable-kvm" included when you start up qemu).

Hope this helps.

Lightbulb Install in ubuntu, then..

Hello, I have a little workaround for this:

1.- install the official .deb in ubuntu (in a virtual machine, of course)
2.- copy the installation folder (spotify) to your machine (you can find it in /opt)
3.- copy the lib "libgcrypt.so.11" (look for it, because I don't remember where is it XD) to /usr/lib64 (I use AMD64)
4.- assign proper permissions to "/opt/spotify" ('-R 755' is fine)
5.- now just execute "/opt/spotify/spotify-client/spotify"
6.- enjoy

I'am not shure if this is the best way, but really works for my right now
This is my firs contribution here, sorry for my bad english and I hope to be helpful
