Hey All,

On my new notebook as well as the old one, I can't get the Function-Key switching for laptop/external display working properly. Here's what happens:

1) If laptop is booted with external monitor connected I get both displays up till I logon then the laptop goes blank and won't come back and I only have the external monitor

2) I have to restart to get the laptop display back

I have enabled and disabled the Dual Head mode in YaST to no betterment....... (is betterment a word?) I have also checked things in the BIOS and no settngs there help...

Any thoughts? I'd really like to get this figured out, it's the ONLY thing that doesn't work in SLED 10 on this laptop.

What's your card and driver? I probably can't help, but I am sure others can, if they knew more about your hardware.

It's an nVida 7600 w/256m Ram and the Driver supplied by nVidia.
