Konqueror: some web-sites not displaying properly

e.g yahoo mail - lots of buttons overlapping & some pictures.

any ideas?

Konqueror 3.5.5 renders the yahoo mail page correctly in my case. What's your version?

Upgraded to Suse 10.2 - all now working! If a bit slower

auxsvr 08-21-2007 10:20 AM

If it's slower to load after booting, maybe you should remove the zen pattern (it's very buggy and slow) as it'll be removed in the next suse version.

that sound worth a try - how do I do it?

But I've only got 250MB memory, & it seems to be swapping quite a lot on e.g. youtube; so maybe I need more memory??

auxsvr 08-23-2007 05:03 PM

If you go to administrator settings/software management, select the entire zen pattern and remove it. 256 MB RAM is the minimum for my needs, that's more or less the amount that the system uses when it boots, maybe it's enough for web browsing and text editing.

wow - everything's much faster - thanx auxsvr (it took me so long coz I've got 2 small kids!!)
