kernel source for SUSE????

Hi this just might be a silly question....

I got Suse9.1 with kernel 2.6.5-7.151.i586

is it possible to compile a source file i found on a mandrake distro under suse9.1. the file name of those source file goes like this

kernel-source-2.6-2.6.8.1-12mdk.i586.rpm

is there a good tutorial on how to compile source kernel ec.

thankyou

why would you want to do this? i guess it might just work, but you'll have to hack the rpm installation of it... and... why would you want to do this?? just do it properly... http://kernel.org
