does anybody know how to lock tasbar....?
i dont want to see the arrows left side of the panels...
taskbar should act as one part...
and how can i change the button of kde menu on taskbar?
lock taskbar:
Right-click on the panel,
select 'Configure panel',
select 'Hiding',
de-select in 'Panel-Hiding Buttons': Show right/left panel-hiding button.
change icon:
Change the link in /etc/opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/<size>/apps/kmenu.png to an icon of your choice (the subfolder depends on your icon size).
under configure panel select hide left and right hide arrows.
the kmenu button is linked to /etc/opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/64x64/apps (or 48x48 i still need to check which one it is).you can rename the suse branded button and drop in your own with the name the original button had.
i just redid my icons so........
/etc/opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/48x48/apps is the location of the kmenu button icon
/etc/opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/48x48/filesystems is the location of the trash icons....plural.for proper display of empty and full states you need to change both of them.
changing the icons this way is global,so it changes them for all users.
