Kaffeine General warning

I just tried Kaffeine to play a DVD and got the fault below, is there a work around for this.

General Warning:
Warning: This version of Xine lacks support for playing DVD discs for legal reasons.
Please go to http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2003/09/xine_dvd.html for further details.

Defaulted to mute

It appears that the SuSE default on install is to mute all sound ports. Try alsmixer to fix the issue.
