iPod Nano

My iPod nano is not getting mounted automatically in SLED 10. I managed to fix the issue on my other system ( an Ubuntu system ) but I can't find the fix for SLED.

The problem seems to be with HAL, from what I read, which detects the iPod as a Via Raid device and causes Gnome to be fairly upset with it. I can mount the iPod manually with sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sda2 /mnt/ipod but that's sort of a pain and it won't give me the same functionality that I could otherwise get in other distributions.

Does anyone know of a fix similar to the Ubuntu one?

hal, ipod, nano, sled
